"Aby Khalf Al Shagara" Waiting on Tamer Hosni's Return from U.S.

Ahmed El Sobky, the producer of "Aby Khalf Al Shagara" (Dad Behind the Tree), says he's waiting for Tamer Hosni to return from the United States to settle on the final details and begin preparing to shoot.

Director Islam Khairy has confirmed in statements to that Ayman Bahgat Amar, the screenwriter, is close to finishing the script. The team is now just waiting for Hosni to return to Cairo to finalize his contract, after which they'll start selecting co-stars. A number of leading ladies are in the running, but at this point no decisions have been made. 

Khairy pointed out that the film will be released on Eid el Fitr. El Sobky also has another film coming out this Eid, "Qalb al Asad," though it's possible the release will be delayed to Eid el Adha.
