Nada Bassyouni on Her Fears for Egypt and "Ala Shatt Bahr el Qaleq"

In an exclusive statement to , actress Nada Bassyouny said that the political situation in Egypt is terrifying, specifically in regards to the attempts of the Muslim Brotherhood to hold on to power at the expense of Egyptian bodies.

Sh added that she had felt optimistic when the great Egyptian army had stepped in to protect Egypt and secure its way, but she had not expected it to come to this point in terms of the Morsi regime and the Brotherhood supporters who are trying to destroy Egypt. She said plainly that this bloodshed is haram. She hopes that everyone will go home and look for work that will put the country on the path to success and uplift Egypt in the eyes of the world.

Moving from politics to entertainment, Nada also mentioned that her radio series "Ala Shatt Bahr el Qaleq" (On the Shore of an Ocean of Anxiety) is still on the air this season, though the TV show version of the program was postponed last Ramadan due to a financial crisis.

Also starring in the program are Magdy KamelMagdy Kamel, Helmy Fouda, Azza Lebeeb, Lekaa Sweedaan and Houda Hani.
