Actor Amr Youssef has rejected some observations that the preacher that he plays on " Niran Sadeeka" (Friendly Fire) strongly resembles preachers played by Hany Salama and Ahmad Fahmy on " El Da'eya." The comparison is unfair, according to Youssef, as each is different than the other.

Youssef also said that "El Da'eya" is a whole different story, pointing out that the preacher in the show is the focus of the events, whereas the character Tarek in "Niran Sadeeka" is one part of the fabric of the show, and the characters has many complexities and personal transformations. The character is full of details that illuminate aspects of his interiority; he's not just about preaching.

Youssef followed this by adding that his character has allowed him to grow and mature so much artistically, as it is exactly the kind of character he has been hoping to play: full of emotions and energy.

Also starring in "Niran Sadeeka" are Menna Shalaby, Mohamed Shahin, Rania Youssef and Kinda Alloush. It's written by Mohamed Amin Rady and directed by Khaled Marie.
