Cyrine Abdel Nour Demands Laws That Confront Violence Against Women

The Lebanese star Cyrine Abdel Nour was hosted by Nishan on “Ana Wel Assal”. She talked about many subjects including her latest show “Laabet El Moot” currently airing on many satellite channels.

Cyrine praised her new show, asserting that it occupies the first rank of LBC shows. She stressed that she succeed to emerge from under the shadow of her last character, Ruby. Serine expressed her happiness for collaborating with the Syrian actor Abed Fahd calling him a monster, implying the camera loves him. She also expressed her excitement to work with Maged El Masry too. The actress went on talking about her new show and the subject of violence against women discussed in the show, pointing that Naya is an existing character in society. She also called for strict laws to curb violence against women, expressing her solidarity with all women subject to this kind of violence in the Arab world.

Cyrine told her host that a large number of Lebanese artists called her to congratulate her on the new show “Laabet El moot,” confirming that Lebanese dramas have done well and are now in every Arab house. She also greeted many artists through the show above all the retired star Shadia, whom she said she loved very much. She also greeted both Lebanese artists Maxim Khalil and Ward Khal who shined in Egyptian drama this year and the star Nicol Saba hoping that God will bless her with a beautiful baby girl that will look like her. Serine shared her ambition to be the #1 Lebanese star in Egypt, responding to Nicole Saba's comments that Cyrine was #2.

About her personal life, Cyrine said that she tries to balance between her personal life and marriage and her work as an artist. She confirmed that she was never subjected to any kind of violence from her husband, also saying that she wishes her daughter will grow up to be as a smart girl to face the masculine world we live in. She added that her child suffered from her preoccupation with the show as she herself suffered from being away from her baby.
