Producer Ahmed el Sobky has again delayed his new film "Salem Abo Oukhto," which Mohamed Ragab is in the running to star in, due to current instability in Egypt as well as Sobky's preoccupation with "Ash el Bolbol" (Nightingale's Nest) which is nearly done shooting. The film is due out by Eid al-Adha.

"Salem Abo Oukhto" is also in preparation; auditioning will begin as soon as director Sameh Abdel Aziz has finished shooting his new film "Halawet Roh" with Haifa Wahbi, which should happen in mid-October.

Mohamed Ragab's last film was the murder-mystery " Al Hafla" (The Party) alongside Ahmed Ezz, Jumana Murad and Ruby. It was written by Wael Abdallah and directed by Ahmad Alaa Aldeeb.
