Rumors have been circulating on Friday that Quentin Tarantino will play the legendary B-movie maker Roger Corman. The movie will be directed by Joe Dante.

The 60's set biopic is about the making of “The Trip,” a controversial movie about LSD experience of a young guy. The movie is one of Jack Nicholson's first roles and the only American picture to be invited to Cannes Film Festival that year.

Colin Firth was also said to play the part but no confirmations has been made. Dante had denied recently Trantino playing the part tweeting: "Quentin is a great filmmaker and a good friend, however there is absolutely no truth to the stories in the press and on the web that he is going to play Roger Corman in my upcoming film 'The Man with Kaleidoscope Eyes.'" So it seems we'll need to wait to find out more.
