I just couldn't find childcare! Will Ferrell Takes Kids Onstage at Emmys

As if we didn’t love Will Ferrell enough. In his usual jolly manner, Ferrell took to the stage (in a black shirt, shorts and Tevas) to present the Emmy award for best comedy series (“ Modern Family” won, by the way), with his three children in tow.

The comedian rambled about Helen Mirren and Maggie Smith shirking on their presenting duties and calling in last minute for Will to fill in. He riffs on the craziness of parenting, saying there was a soccer game and a nut allergy, and he just “couldn’t find childcare.” To no one’s surprise, the crowd ate it up.

The 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre on Sunday. Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”) was this year’s host.
