“Sehr El Farasha” Today at the 7th Oran Arab Film Festival

The Egyptian movie “Sehr El Farasha” ( The Butterfly Charm) is screened today at the 7th Oran Arab Film Festival as part of the shorts contest.

The short movie is directed by Romany Saad, director of “Bard Yanayer.” In his new movie Romany traces “Salma,” a girl that gets harassed and looses her butterfly necklace. Next day she returns to the same place where she was harassed to find her lost necklace.

Four other movies are also screened today, which are: From Tunis “Boby,” directed by Mahdy Barsawy, “Otn” (Cotton) for the Iraqi Loay Fadel, the Qatari/Syrian movie “8 Milyar” (8 Billions) for Ryad Makdessy and “Al Manfy” for the Algerian Mobarak Menad.
