“El Sha'b Lama Yfalsa'” Gets Sabrine Back to Theater Stage

In an exclusive statement to, Artist Sabreen said that she's thrilled about gettingback to theater stage, after years long absence, through the play “ElSha'b Lama Yfalsa'” (When The People Run away). She noted that thetheater has its own charm and enjoyment to any artist, because itprovides a direct interaction with audiences.

Sabreen added that she accepted to playthe part once she knew that it's about what's happening in Egypt. Shesaid that she plays the role of a character that represents Egyptianstruggling women. Her character, Om Ashraf, got slapped on the faceby a member of the Muslim Brotherhood during the trial of theunseated president.

It's worth mentioning, that Rania Farid Shawki turned the part Sabreen is supposed to play. The play alsostars Ahmad Bedear and Alaa Morsy. It was written by Mahmoud El Toukhyand will be directed by Khaled Galal.
