National Movie Festival Screens “Benteen Men Masr” and “Telk Al Ayam” today

On its second day, the 17thNational Egyptian Film Festival is screening features anddocumentaries in both Alexandria and Cairo. At Alexandria Center ofArts, the festival screens three features: “ Tilka al-ayam” (ThoseDays), directed by Ahmed Ghanem, “ Bintain Min Masr” (Two GirlsFrom Egypt), directed by Mohamed Amin and “ Cima Ali Baba,”directed by Ahmed El Gendy.

In Cairo, at the Opera House ArtCenter, many features and documentaries are listed on today'sschedule, among them “Bard Yanayer” (January's Chill), directedby Romany Saad. And the documentaries “Eneiba” and “FarTagarob” (Experiments Rat), directed by Mohanad Diab and AhmedShawky respectively.

The festival opened yesterday, honoringmany artists. Among the honorees were Elham Shaheen and director Said Marzouk. The opening movie was “A'la Defaf El Neel,” celebratingfifty years on its production.
