Watch: Crew of “Farsh We Ghatta” Celebrate Its Cairo Premiere

attended the premiere of“ Farsh Wa Ghatta” (Rags and Tatters) which was held at Nile Citytheater. The movie's crew celebrated their movie with many otherEgyptian artists.

interviewed the directorof the movie, Ahmed Abdallah, who expressed his dislike to theclassification of the movie as a movie about the revolution or afestival movie, considering it a feature that tells stories heactually saw and lived.

Asser Yassin, the lead actor, said thefilm takes the audience to different alienated worlds of Cairo.Director Youssry Nasrallah, head of Montpelier Film Festival's jury,the festival that gave its big prize to the movie, noted that thismovie showed him Cairo as he never saw it before, Cairo that has asoul.

“Farsh Wa Ghatta” is in theatersfrom today and it's expected to last for a week on a the big screen.
