Bryan Singer to Direct 2016's “X-Men: Apocalypse”

Director Bryan Singer will direct“X-Men: Apocalypse” due in 2016. The movie will be the follow upto the 2014's “ X-Men: Days of Future Past,” starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and the younger cast of “ X-Men: First Class”: James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence.

Singer already tweeted about it fromhis personal account last week, announcing the sequel. It was obviousthat he will be behind the camera in the sequel and finally the newsgot confirmed.

The new film is intended to focus onthe younger cast. Fox is releasing the star-packed “X-Men: Days ofFuture Past” despite the fact that “X-Men: First Class” withthe same cast was the lowest earner for the comic adaptation. “X-Men: Days of Future Past” isvery important for Fox as it's the second most expensive film thestudio has ever made, after “ Avatar.”
