American actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus said that she was "out of [her] mind with happiness" over receiving two Golden Globe nominations, adding that she was shocked with the announcements.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association revealed its nominations for the 71st Golden Globes last Thursday, of which Julia earned two: a “Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy” nomination for her role in the series ' Veep', and a “Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy” nomination for her role in ' Enough Said.'

Louis Dreyfus added, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that she is particularly honored by the film category nomination, given that she is primarily known for her television work.

Being nominated for two completely different characters is very thrilling to her. She gave credit to the writers of both works, mentioning that every role was “artfully and executed.” She also gave further credit to the directors, saying that “without them, none of this would have happened.”

The 71st Golden Globes will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014.
