Essad Younis to Host 'El Sett Masr' on CBC

Artist and producer Essad Younis is preparing to host a new show titled "El Sett Masr" (Lady Egypt) on the satellite channel CBC, after a deal was concluded with Sherif El Shennawy, CEO of the show's production company.

El Shennawy stated that the program will be one of the most important in Egypt for the coming period, and will have the biggest production scale, specially aided by Essad's artistic abilities.

The show will offer a new depiction of Egypt by re-exploring the Egyptian identity and character, and what the country has achieved culturally, scientifically and artistically and the influence of these achievements on the human civilization throughout the ages, in addition to video reports and interviews from slums and monumental sites.
