Will Steven Seagal Run for Arizona Governor?

Action star Steven Seagal has revealed his intention to run for Arizona state governor, as the martial arts expert already has a respectable amount of political experience, and is known to have a good relationship with many politicians from across the world, on top of which is the Russian Vladimir Putin. In a well known incident, Seagal mediated a diplomatic meeting between a California state senator and Putin about the Boston Marathon bombings.

The meeting was held in the presence of six Americans and the Russian vice prime minister, and it couldn't have been possible if the 61 year old hasn't intervened, according to head of the American committee in the meeting in an interview with ABC News.

Seagal is not the only actor who has run for state governor, as he was preceded by Arnold Schwarzenegger in California, who was titled head of state from 2003 to 2011.
