After its Battle with the Censorship: “Asrar Aa'eleya” Hits Theaters on the 22nd of January

After winning his battle with theEgyptian censorship, director Hany Fawzy and and crew of the film“ Asrar Aa'eleya” decided to release the movie on the 22nd ofJanuary.

The Egyptian censorship organization allowedthe movie with two comments only after thirteen ones made at thebeginning. The director complied with the comments and a release datewas assigned.

“Asrar Aa'eleya” was written byMohamed Abdel Qader, produced by Dr. Ihab Khalil and directed by HanyFawzy. The movie stars Mohamed Mahran, Emad Al Raheb and Salwa MohamedAly. It sparked controversy as it depicts the life of a younghomosexual man.
