New Century Starts 2014 with Daoud Abdel Sayed's “Kodrat Gheir Aadeya”

Filming has started for New Century'sfirst production “Kodrat Gheir Aadeya.” The movie is the latestfrom the acclaimed director Daoud Abdel Sayed whose latest was“ Rassael al-bahr” (Messages from the Sea) in 2010.

“Kodrat Gheir Aadeya” stars Khaled Abol Naga in his second participation with Daoud after “Mowaten weMokhber we Haramy.” The movie also stars Naglaa Badr, Mahmoud El Gendy, Abbas Abul Hassan and Ahmed Kamal who worked with Daoud sincehis masterpiece “Al Kit Kat” in 1991.

The shooting started in Alexandria withAbol Naga filming his first scenes. Ahmed Badawy, New Century'sgeneral manager said that the company is trying to push the localcinematic market forward by producing movies like this one for one ofthe most important directors in Egypt and the Arab world.

New Century has a parallel projectgoing on which is the new feature of Ahmed Abdallah, “Decor”Starring also Khaled Abol Naga and Horeya Farghaly. “Decor” waswritten by Mohamed Diab.
