Oprah Winfrey Joins Brad Pitt To Produce Martin Luther King Biopic

Media proprietor, talk show host Oprah Winfrey has decided to join forces with Brad Pitt to produce a biopic film depicting the life of African American activist Martin Luther King.

A titled was chosen for the film: "Selma," which was the starting point of a massive march of African Americans demanding their voting rights in 1965, which proved effective as the government fulfilled the people's demands.

Slumdog Millionaire producers Plan B will be also joining the project. David Oyelowo is set to play the lead.

Oyelowo formerly participated in several successful films including The Butler and Lincoln.
