For the Third Time: James Cameron's Lightstorm Wins Avatar Theft Lawsuit

In 2001 James Cameron's productioncompany, Lightstorm was sued three times over accusations that he hadstolen the work of other writers to make " Avatar." The huge productionmade $2.8 billion at the box office.

Last Friday, Cameron won the third andthe last trial when a Maryland judge denied a $1 billion copyrightclaim from BryantMoore,who alleged that Lightstorm had infringed two of his screenplays,Aquatica andThe Pollination.

The last two allegations were refusedback in February and October.
