Glamour magazine has reported that the Academy Awardsceremony this year has earned 43 million viewers across the United States, the highest number of viewers recorded from 10 years, coming after the record set by the Friends finale episode entitled “RIP” in 2004, which was viewed by 52.6 million U.S citizens.

This year's Oscars ceremony featured several unconventionally funny moments, thanks to the event's host Ellen Degeneres, who collected money from attendees, including Brad Pittand Angelina Jolie and ordered pizza, which was shared by a lot of Hollywood stars, and orchestrated a seflie pose with a group of stars, which when posted on the internet, achieved the highest number of retweets in recorded Twitter history.
