Kate Winslet To Get Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

The organizers of the Hollywood Walk of Fame have announced that the Oscar-winner Kate Winslet will be getting a star carrying her name, to become the 2520th celebrity to earn a place on the walk.

Ana Martinez, who organises the ceremonies, said: "We've seen Kate shine in her roles and fans around the world have been anxiously waiting for this special day to come."

The 38-year-old actress will be joined by Titanic director James Cameronand co-star Kathy Bates for the ceremony next Monday.
