Russel Crowe revealed the reason behind a weeping incident he experienced on the set of Noah, after spending an entire shooting day topless inside the sea, which gave him a hysterical episode that involved heavy breathing, shivers, and continuous crying.

Members of the crew tried to help Crowe get warm again, by using many sheets and blankets, until he finally got back to his senses.

In an interview with Event, Crowe said that besides shooting under difficult weather circumstances in Iceland, he received a call from his wife in which she informed him that she will file for divorce, and that they should talk about it with their children after he finishes shooting.
