Universal Studios, producers of the upcoming Scarlett Johansson film Lucy, have decided to move the film's release date from the 8th of August to the 25th of next July.

The decision was made to avoid competition with two highly anticipated films that are set to be released by the beginning of August: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Into the Storm.

The film follows 'Lucy', a drug trafficker who transforms into a super-human after a drug package explodes inside her stomach.

Egyptian actor Amr Waked co-stars alongside Johansson and Morgan Freeman.
