A screening of the new film " Décor" took place last night at Zaywa theater, in its first day of release in Egyptian theaters. A conference followed the screening, which was attended y the film's director Ahmed Abdallah, editor Sara Abdallah and cinematographer Tarek Hefny.

Abdallah mentioned that the film has faced a lot of difficulties in its distribution, specially that it is a black and white film. According to him, shooting a film in monochrome was one of his long unfulfilled wishes.

Abdallah praised his actors' performances, specially Khaled Abol Naga, who he said he enjoys a special work harmony with, and Maged Elkedwany,, who he also formerly wished to work with. About Horeya Farghaly, Abdallah said that he was particularly amazed by her performance during the production.

The film premiered internationally last October at the London Film Festival, and in Egypt at the Cairo International Film Festival.

Décor follows a set designer stressed by her current life, who gets carried away by the atmosphere of her most recent set, and eventually leads a double life, where the boundary between reality and fiction is constantly fading.
