Richard Linklater Named Best Director At Golden Globes

Director Richard Linklater has won the Golden Globes award for Best Director, for his work on his film “ Boyhood”. The win was expected and anticipated by numerous film critics and moviegoers.

Linklater was a very strong contestant, with his film which he shot over the span of 12 years, winning the award for Best Motion Picture (Drama). The award was the film's second, after the award for best supporting actress went to Patricia Arquette for her role in the film.
