Boyhood Named Best Dramatic Film At Golden Globes

Richard Linklater's Boyhood won the Golden Globe award for Best Motion Picture (Drama), beating off the other nominees in the same category: The Theory of Everything, Selma, Foxcatcher and The Imitation Game.

The film also won two other awards during the same night, one for its director Richard Linklater, and another for best supporting actress that went to Patricia Arquette, earning a total of three awards from a sum of five nominations.

Eddie Redmayne won the Golden Globe for best actor in a motion picture for his role in The Theory of Everything, while Julian Moore won the globe for best actress for her role in “ Still Alice”.
