Berlin Film Festival Commences With 'Nobody Wants The Night'

The 64th Berlin International Film Festival has launched its edition today with the screening of the opening film Nobody Wants The Night.

The film's director Isabel Coixet attended the screening, along with the film's stars Juliette Binoche and Gabriel Byrne. The film is participating among the special screenings program, out of the official competition, in which 19 films are competing for the festival's prestigious Golden Bear. The prizes will be announced on the 14th of February, two days before the festival concludes.

Among the films participating in the official competition are Terrence Malick's Knight of the Cups and Wim Wenders' Every Thing Will Be Fine. The jury is headed by Noah's director Darren Aronofsky.
