Haifa Wahby Will Only Act In “Maryam”

Lebanese star Haifa Wahby has confirmed that she will not perform any songs in her upcoming series “ Maryam”, which will start airing in Ramadan, and stated that she prefers separating both jobs.

She added that audience also prefer separating between an artist's acting voice and the singer performing the songs for the opening and closing credits, and that performing the roles of two characters might just be enough for her for one endeavour.

Wahby has announced through her press office that cites Maryam as one of the best projects she has been involved in, specially that it compiles a list of very talented and popular actors with which she enjoys working.

Maryam stars Khaled El Nabawy, Hassan Hosny, Ahmed Salah el Saadany, Riham Abdel Ghafour and Amal Rizq, and was written by Ayman Salama and directed by Mohamed Aly.
