Fatma Nasser Involved In Amour In "Our Reverend The Lover"

Tunisian actress Fatma Nasser has revealed a description of her character in the upcoming television series "Mawlana Al Aasheq" (Our Reverend The Lover), in which she stars alongside Mostafa Shaaban, under the directions of Othman Abu Laban. The series will air on MBC this month.

Fatma stated that she portrays a character named Ruqayya, who suffers from poverty and lives in a slum, and also gets involved in a secret affair with a man who impregnates her, which forces her to get married to him.

Fatma added that the character got her very enthusiastic, as she had been looking for an unconventional role for quite some time. She also mentioned that she has tried to steer away from the cliché perception of the local girl that was presented in hundreds of other films and shows.
