Jafar Al-Masry's empire is about to collapse, the devil asks him to kill in exchange for saving him from bankruptcy. Jaafar agrees and kills the hunter Hammam. But guilt drives Jaafar to search for the village of Hammam, and he starts to get to know his relatives and wife Halima.

Jaafar El Masri is an entrepreneur whose (financial empire) is on the brink of collapse. (In a macabre deal), Satan, after looking into his history (and circumstances) asks him to commit murder, (the final sin), in return for saving him from bankruptcy. Jaafar agrees to commit the crime of murdering (Hamam), a fisherman who lives in a village that lies (several) hundred kilometers away from Cairo. Jaafar’s guilty conscience pushes him to search for the village of the murdered fisherman. (Once there), he gets to know Hamam’s relatives and his wife Halima. He abandons his affluent life style and settles in the village as a fisherman and as he gets closer to Halima, (Hamam’s wife formerly), a conflict arises between him and Salim (who is married to Halima’s sister). Salim, who is (infatuated) with Halima, attempts to murder her in order to (fulfill) his desire to have revenge for her loving Jaafar. Jaafar saves her life though (and in the struggle) he is stabbed by Salim. Salim is captured by the village folk and he confesses to murdering Hamam. (This development bolsters Jaafar in his resistance to Satan. Subsequently Jaafar rejects Satan’s (tempting offers) and decides to (settle) in the (fishing) village.
