In the village of Sidi Khalla, there's a plot of land next to the school with a sign that says "owned by El Sahti's Children." The teacher wants to have it legally incorporated into the old school, while the contractor tries to buy it to turn it into a mosque and a trade center, but the respectable MP buys it stealthily, so the teacher goes from one bureau to another seeking to reveal the truth.
