Salim has a rivalry with the brothers Fouad and Ahmed over control of the stone supply in the Abu Zaabal Quarries. Salim attempts to stop the brothers' activities in their workshop in the quarries by any means necessary, including turning to a band of outlaws to terrorize them and using a belly dancer to cause a rift between the brothers.
