The photojournalist Albert suffers from the demons of his past over the horrors he witnessed while working as a photographer in the French army in Morocco in 1956 and 1957. As he returns to Morocco in search of peace of mind, he becomes part of the lives of the photographer Reda and the dancer Aida.
