Marzouq seeks to be appointed as a teaching assistant; Mashhour tries to partner up with Esmat in his company; Gulnar breaks down when she hears that her husband's plane has crashed.

Marzouq works for free for Abu Al Hadid, who uses Syed to spread the news of Esmat's marriage to Amani in order to change her mind about handing over the management of the company to Raouf.

Gulnar authorizes Mashhour to manage the company's affairs, on the condition that Abu Al Hadid be removed from the accounting work and his tasks be assigned to Marzouq. Gaballah slips his wife's jewelry into the belongings of Marzouq, who is arrested.

Gaballah drops his report in exchange for Marzouq giving up his room. Gulnar discovers Marzouq and Abu Al Hadid's plan to seize her money. Mashhour asks Marzouq to help him tamper with the company's accounts.

Gulnar and Marzouq plan to set up Mashhour, and Marzouq travels to obtain his Ph.D.

Gulnar cancels the power of attorney she gave Marzouq, whose articles are published by the press, and he returns to Egypt after his doctorate. Gulnar agrees to absorb Mashhour's company into her corporation under the supervision of Marzouq.

Warda is surprised that Marzouq is teaching her at the Faculty of Economics. Gulnar expels Abu Al Hadid after insulting Marzouq, whom she exchanges looks of admiration with.

As Abu Al Hadid hires someone to attack Marzouq in the press, he uses the help of an impostor to entrap him. Marzouq and Gulnar get married.

After Warda offends Marzouq, he prevents her from attending his lectures. To honor Gulnar's wish, Mashhour asks to end his partnership with Abu Al Hadid, while Marzouq suffers due to Gulnar's interference in his life.

Gulnar agrees to let Abu Al Hadid work in her corporation so he'd drop his report against Marzouq, who beat him. Marzouq discovers that Mashhour, Abu Al-Hadid, and Gulnar have conspired against him, so he plans to trap them.

As Marzouq admits that he helped Gulnar control the stock exchange, he burns his articles, and a fire breaks out in the house, and the search is still on for Marzouq.

Marzouq returns to the alley. Hamza delivers documents to Khidr, the lawyer, at Marzouq's request. Gulnar returns from abroad after learning about the fire that Marzouq set.

Gulnar is surprised that Marzouq stole her confidential documents; Warda exposes Marzouq in the alley; the police are looking for Marzouq.

As Gulnar is transferred to the hospital due to a nervous breakdown, she places an ad asking Marzouq to visit her, as part of a plan to have him arrested. Gaballah intends to report Marzouq's whereabouts.

Marzouq closes his place in the alley after Syed discovers his whereabouts, and Gulnar announces a financial reward for whoever finds him. Warda continues to attack Marzouq.

As Marzouq promises the people of the alley to put his money at their disposal, he entrusts Abdul Wadood with the documents. Syed informs Gulnar about Marzouq's whereabouts.

Gulnar defends Marzouq to secure her company from his documents, and Marzouq uses Hamza to set up Gulnar.

Marzouq asks Gulnar to visit him in the alley. Syed informs Fouad, the editor-in-chief, of Marzouq's whereabouts. Abu Al Hadid submits a report to the Public Prosecution Office with forged documents proving Marzouq's theft.

Gulnar claims that Marzouq is mentally unsound, and Raouf refuses to cooperate with her to forge documents that would incriminate Marzouq. Syed tries to find the documents.

Gaballah reports Marzouq's kidnapping of his daughter. As Marzouq is interrogated about Abu Al Hadid's report, he is surprised when Gulnar defends him.

Marzouq is arrested for interrogation regarding Gaballah's report. Khidr refuses to cooperate with Syed against Marzouq. Gulnar is surprised by Marzouq's engagement to Warda. Syed finds the documents.

Syed delivers the documents to Gulnar, and Warda refuses to marry Marzouq. Ismail asks the servants to testify falsely that Marzouq is mentally unsound at Gulnar's behest.

Gulnar seeks to evict the people in the alley. Syed makes Hamza suspicious of the alley's people. Warda reveals to Marzouq Gulnar's scheme to prove that he is not mentally sound.

Gulnar demands that Marzouq's money be seized, while he seeks the help of specialists to restore the alley and thwart her plan. The police give the alley's residents two days to vacate it.

Marzouq discovers Syed's theft of the documents. Gulnar comes between Marzouq and the people of the alley by seizing his money and building a residential complex for them. Marzouq refuses to return to Gulnar.
