Aida meets with Bishr, after which the latter spends the night with a dancer, which angers his Italian uncle. Bishr sleeps over at his Italian mother’s, and returns in the morning to his father's agency, whereupon he gets arrested for killing Badia Asfour.

Giovanni tries to save Bishr from the trumped-up crime, and it turns out that the murdered woman isn’t Badia, but another woman in her clothes. Aida is annoyed by Mostafa, who wants to return to her. Amer saves Salah from the police during a demonstration.

Silvana seeks Giovanni’s help to obtain her rights from her husband's siblings. Salah escapes from Mohamed Badran’s house and joins Naima and her son for patriotic work. Richard and Hazan offer to let Bishr partner up with them in a new agency, but he stipulates that he gets the villa in Glim.

As Giovanni De Lorenzi tries to persuade Bishr to work with him in the cotton trade, and to work with his father, he agrees provided that he buy him Mizrahi's villa next to Mohamed Badran’s. Sheikh Abdel Fattah tries to get close to Aida, but he gets severely beaten by Mohamed Badran's men.

As Abdel Fattah faints, everyone thinks that he died, and when they go to bury him, he awakens, and is turned into a holy man; Ikram’s latent feelings for him are rekindled. Bishr moves to the villa his uncle bought for him next to Aida’s, and speaks to his father about trading in cotton with his uncle.

Hamido, Naima's late husband’s brother, gets out of prison and demands what his brother left him. El Tobji meets with Salah and a group of militants, and is assigned his first mission. De Lorenzi demands that Marco give Silvana the appropriate requital. It’s revealed that El Tobji saved Badia's life.

The royal palace’s envoy contacts De Lorenzi, asking him for money for the king. Bishr visits Badia Asfour and invites her to a celebration in his villa, which galls Mohamed Badran and Aida. Sheikh Abdel Fattah complains about the responsibilities thrust upon him after he became a holy man.

Morshidi learns that his dad will sign the agency over to him if Khamis doesn’t back down. Amer talks to Rifai about marrying Ikram. Aida visits Abdel Fattah.

Vasiliadis decides to propose to Rina. As Bishr discovers that Salah is hiding at Badia Asfour’s, El Tobji decides to move him to another place so he wouldn’t tell Aida. Bayada's father refuses to wed her to Rifai, even though she loves him. Khamis divorces his wife and tries to win Bayada for himself.

As Mostafa Bagato tells Bishr that he’s about to marry Aida, Bishr confronts them with each other, and she admits that she said that in order to evade him. Bishr reveals to Aida where Salah is, so El Tobji gets angry and decides to cooperate with Abu Doma to teach Bishr a lesson. Abdel Fattah is arrested.

De Lorenzi solves Silvana's problem with her brothers-in-law. After three days of searching, Master Ashour El Sammak finds his daughter at El Shennawi’s, and decides to wed her to Khamis the next day. As El Shennawi refuses to perform at the wedding, Ashour threatens him with the trust receipts.

Rifai proposes to Mahrousa, who agrees. As De Lorenzi holds a masquerade in his palace, the countess comes, and he invites her on a tour all over Egypt. As Khamis and Bayada’s wedding takes place, Rifai dances at the party after Bishr, whereupon an unknown person shoots Rifai.

As Francesca asks Bishr about the money he took from the safe, he tells her that his uncle knows he took it. Rifai inaugurates the new agency, and Richard and Hazan offer to sell him their car. As Fathi learns that Rina traveled with Vasiliadis, he feels sad that she left him. Silvana reveals to El Tobji that she’s aware of his patriotic activities.
