The events revolve around the midwife Ghalyah, who also works as a maid in the house of Sa'ad's father and served as Sa'ad's wetnurse at one point. When Sa'ad grows up, he marries his cousin who is after his father's money, and she tries to frame Ghalyah for a crime to get rid of her.
