Amina is at risk while doing an investigative report. Shamil, the editor-in-chief, visits her, and she receives threats from an anonymous person. Amina is robbed as Nawal saves her and asks her to help her find her son, Mahmoud. Amina discovers her husband's, Salah, betrayal.

Amina stays with her mother, and she gets a divorce from Salah. Amina asks the journalist Ahmed to apologize to the businessman Mukhtar after a bad decision from him, but Mukhtar refuses to come to terms with the newspaper. A recording showing Salah's betrayal is leaked through the internet.

Amina and her colleagues start a series of investigations into child labor. After Ahmed's investigation, Amina intervenes and meets Mukhtar, and he stipulates an official apology in the paper. Amina is angry at Ahmed's decision to resign, and she publishes a description of Mahmoud in the paper.

After Shamil refuses to publish an apology, Amina and her colleagues begin a sit-in. Osama, Iman's son, faces problems in school, and he gets expelled and starts going to a psychiatrist. Amina has a car accident.

Amina survives and her colleagues suspect that the accident was orchestrated by Shamil. The daughter of Amina's maid, Batta, passes away. Shamil complies with the journalists, and attorney Karim tries to get close to Amina. Amina gets a recording of the accident with a threat.

Amina travels to cover a fashion show, and she meets Karim there. Aida, Mukhtar's daughter, confronts Amina that she is in a relationship with Karim. Amina returns and helps Nawal with a problem, while Osama continues to cause trouble.

Shamil tries to fire the journalists and bribe Amina in order to cover up for him. Mukhtar's business begins to flourish, and Amina cooperates with him against Shamil so that the journalists do not get fired, and she records a conversation for them to blackmail Shamil.

Mukhtar helps Amina and announces a reward for anyone who finds Nawal's son. Amina meets an unknown person who tries to kill her. The son of Abdel Ra'ouf Qassem, who was imprisoned and killed, gives Amina documents that belonged to his father.

The newspaper refuses to publish the new file that exonerates Abdel Ra'ouf and implicates others. Amina appears on a TV interview and tells the truth despite the repeated threats. Amina's mother needs an operation and Shamil pays its full cost.

Amina and her team find a beggar that has Mahmoud with her. Journalist Ibrahim is beaten and robbed after following her, and Master Abu Al-Faraj is watching.

Amina and Ahmed disguise themselves and live in the neighborhood and approach Abu Al-Faraj, so that she can continue the search for Mahmoud. Iman discovers that Osama got the money to get drugs. Amina refuses to reveal her investigation to Shamil.

Amina and Abu Al-Faraj get closer, as Atta tries to get close to Amina but she stops him. Shamil tries to monitor Amina to discover what she's up to. Karim helps Amina with Osama's problem and he confesses his feelings for her. Amina meets Brazily and Warda.

An anonymous communicates with Amina and causes a misunderstanding between her and Karim. Amina penetrates the gang and finds infants kidnapped from their families. She steals their clothes in order to return them to their families.

Warda discovers Amina's true identity and decides not to expose her. Atta fails to expose Amina in front of Abu Al-Faraj, while Nawal recognizes Mahmoud's clothes. Amina follows a new lead after Shamil finds out what Amina is doing. Abu Al-Faraj discovers that there is an informant among them.

Atta tries to attack Amina, but Brazily kills him and the police arrest him. Abu Al-Faraj's daughter is taken to the hospital. Amina advises Abu Al-Faraj to change his work and he discovers her true identity after Shamil publishes a news story about her.

Abu Al-Faraj confronts Amina. Karim's ex-wife accuses him of kidnapping their son, Omar, despite his report to the police that his son was kidnapped. Amina fights with Shamil because of his insult to Karim.

Abu Al-Faraj repents after his daughter dies, and he tells Amina that Mukhtar has Mahmoud. Mukhtar offers Amina a good job opportunity. After Karim's ex-wife meets her son, she gives him up for being with special needs.

Aida's obsession with Karim increases, and she asks her father to force him to marry her. Amina takes Nawal with her to verify her son's identity, causing Aida to panic after trying to take the child, Ameen, from her. Aida asks Mukhtar to discipline Amina.

Mukhtar reconciles with Amina, and unknown persons hit Abu Al-Faraj; Amina becomes suspicious of Mukhtar. Problems increase between Mukhtar and Karim after the latter refuses to marry Aida. Amina suffers from Shamil's oppression.

Shamil publishes an article about Nawal's madness, and she collapses and tries to commit suicide. Karim tries to bribe Amina in order not to expose everything.

Karim tries to retrieve his checks from Mukhtar by manipulating Aida. Aida quarrels with Mukhtar for communicating with her father-in-law in order to get money from him. Amina is appointed to a new position.

Amina interferes to save Warda from a forced marriage. Nawal submits an official report against Mukhtar, accusing him of kidnapping her son. Aida has an unregistered marriage with Karim.

Shamil refuses to cooperate with Mukhtar to get rid of Amina in exchange for money, while Amina discovers journalist Shaimaa’s agreement with Mukhtar to present a forged file to Amina.

Shamil supports Amina in the investigation, and it becomes clear to them that the source of Mukhtar's money is his rich relative. Amina finds the official papers of the child Ayman. Mukhtar gets Karim imprisoned, and Karim divorces Aida.

Abu Al-Faraj discovers from Mukhtar's maid that there was no child after Aida traveled with her husband because of his illness. Mukhtar takes Aida and the child to Jordan, and Amina and Nawal travel there and try to meet Rashid.

Rashid waives his properties to Ayman in the event of his death. Amina and Nawal file a case against Rashid, and Mukhtar's men kidnap Osama so that Nawal will drop the case.

Amina fails to convince Rashid that Ayman is not his grandson, and Laila speaks with Amina. Shamil decides to stir up public opinion against Mukhtar. Abu Al-Faraj tries to find Osama's kidnapper. A doctor testifies in court that Alaa’s disease is hereditary and Ayman must be born with it.

The lawyer challenges the witness's argument, and it is decided to conduct a DNA test on all parties of the case and the DNA proves to be similar to Aida's.

It's revealed that there has been tampering with the samples. After the procedures are repeated, it is evident that Nawal is the boy's mother. Mukhtar tells Aida that her son died while traveling with her husband Alaa, so Mahmoud was kidnapped in order to replace him. Mukhtar is arrested.

Nawal returns with Mahmoud, and Rashid compensates her with a sum of money. Aida collapses in grief, and Amina advises her to be a mother to Karim's son. After returning to Egypt, Amina is able to save Osama and Abu Al-Faraj. Shamil and Amina get married.
