Khadija works as a maid to raise her daughter, Ne'mat. The sympathetic headmistress gives them a room in her villa to live in. Ne'mat falls in love with the wealthy Hassan but his family opposes their marriage. Ashamed of her mother's job, Ne'mat runs away from home.
