When Nafae buys food and distributes it among the neighbors, his wife grows upset as she sees his actions as a needless extravagance. When Mariam asks her husband Ahmed to find a job, Ahmed asks his father, Nafae, to win a tender so that Ahmed could get a commission.

When Nafae admonishes his son for asking him to commit forgery to win the tender, Ahmed plots with Ibrahim to do it. Ibrahim accuses Maged of taking copies of some important documents. Badriya's mother insists on marrying her off to Hesham.

As Nafae enlists his son's help to convince his wife not to force Badriya to marry Hesham, he tries to help Ibrahim and Maged reach an accord. As Nafae receives a promotion, Maged proposes to Badriya, but her mother disapproves of the marriage.

As the manager of the company accuses Nafae of favoring his son by giving him the tender, Ibrahim incites Nafae to keep the money stamp in his office. The police arrest Nafae after accusing him of embezzlement.

As Ahmed grows concerned that he will be questioned about the information he had about the tender, Ahmed's father gets imprisoned for embezzlement.

Gomaa and Ibrahim join forces against Ahmed. Mariam gives birth to her first child. When Nafae is released from prison, his friend Salem advises him to change his attitude and to be wary of everyone.

Nafae admonishes Ahmed for not visiting him in prison. Maged admits to Nafae that he has evidence to prove the latter's innocence, revealing that Ibrahim had a copy of Nafae's office keys.

Maged offers Nafae a job in his new company. As Nafae grows to believe that Ibrahim has impersonated the manager Fayez, he decides to bring him down.

Ibrahim and his assistant plot to accuse Nafae of robbing the studio if he tries to reveal their plot to rob the company. As Maged asks Nafae to return to the company, Ibrahim plots to flee the country.

The police arrest Fayez before he could escape. Mariam asks Ahmed to convince Nafae to testify against Fayez's assistant so that Fayez could get released. As Gomaa falls ill, he accidentally gets the wrong medication.

Nafae saves Gomaa in the nick of time. Gomaa's wife, Hessa, enlists Nafae's help after her husband beats her and takes all her money. Nafae informs his son Ahmed that he has agreed to wed Badriya to Maged, which angers Ahmed.

Gomaa insists on bringing his wife home. Ibrahim threatens Ahmed to expose his corruption if he doesn't get Nafae away from him. Ahmed loses all his money when the villa he is building collapses.

Nafae discovers that his son Ahmed is implicated with Ibrahim in his shady dealings, which prevents him from calling the police. Nafae refuses to let his daughter marry Maged after he learns that Maged was also implicated in illegal deals and that he is the reason behind Nafae's imprisonment.
