When Derisiya meets the elderly Al-Kabira, the latter informs her that the Hajj has divided his properties among his children, a notion that upsets Derisiya. As the Hajj meets with his children in his sister's house, the latter asks Al-Maheidy to look after the land.

With the election season approaching, one of the candidates throws a banquet for the people of the neighborhood to secure their votes. Al-Maheidy quarrels with his father and demands that the latter make Al-Maheidy's share of the inheritance clear to his siblings.

As Ahmed falls ill, he starts hallucinating and mistakes Sa'dya for Al-Tayka, leading him to reveal the location of the deeds. Ahmed recovers, only to find out that the deeds are missing since Sa'dya stole them.

As Ahmed looks everywhere for the deeds, Al-Maheidy throws him out of the house. Al-Maheidy tries to have the deeds put in his name but the lawyer refuses to help him. Al-Tayka confesses that she used to be in love with Al-Maheidy.

When Sa'dya sees Al-Tayka talking to Al-Maheidy, she plots with the latter to beat Al-Tayka in order to abort her. Hajj Ahmed intervenes to save Al-Tayka who is rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

As Al-Tayka passes away along with her baby, Al-Maheidy kicks Alal out of the house and forcibly seizes the land. The devastated Alal visits his wife's grave before leaving the tribe. Ahmed sets the crops on fire and disappears into the city.
