1st Episode

The revolution begins after Hassan Ras El Ghoul assumes his position as Lieutenant-Colonel of the Egyptian Gendarmerie alongside El Kalbi. When Dalila sends Romana, the maid, El Kalbi presents her as a gift to Hassan, and she poisons him.

2nd Episode

When Hassan dies, his wife Fatima kills Romana. Later, she, Salem, and Nour, her father, flee to Faiyum to give birth to Ali, and after several years, they return to Egypt. Meanwhile, El Kalbi evacuates the small shops and gives them to the major merchants, then expels their owners.

3rd Episode

El Ayaa and Gharib are imprisoned. Nour dies after El Kalbi's men attack him. Ali becomes a young man who takes care of his grandfather's perfumery shop, and his friendship continues with Lamlum, who calls him El Zaibaq. Meanwhile, El Kalbi appoints Sheikh Halawa to be the judge of judges.

4th Episode

When Lamlum robs Halawa in the market, and El Kalbi kills him there in front of Ali, the latter decides to take revenge. He strips Halawa and one of El Kalbi’s guards of their clothes in the market and informs Salem about the matter.

5th Episode

When Lieutenant-Colonel Zuraiq, Dalila’s brother, visits Egypt, El Zaibaq steals the calf they are going to eat for dinner and sends a message to El Kalbi. As El Kalbi retrieves the calf,  El Zaibaq deceives Ragab, the cook, and spoils the food. He impersonates a girl to steal from El Kalbi’s palace.

6th Episode

El Zaibaq steals Shamaa’s money, and recovers the debtors' bonds from the merchants. He also swindles the major merchants and takes money from them. He deceives El Kalbi in the Bab El-Wazir bathhouse, and he comes out wounded with glass and without clothes on the street.

7th Episode

Fatima learns what Ali is doing. Elsehwere, Gharib and El Ayaa agree to join El Kalbi's guard because he is detaining Gharib's daughter.

8th Episode

The Governor learns about what happened to El Kalbi, who lies and tells him that he captured El Zaibaq. When El Zaibaq poisons El Kalbi's henna, his beard and moustache fall, and his prestige is shaken among the people. Meanwhile, Fatima dresses as a knight to protect El Zaibaq.

9th Episode

Shams El Din visits his sister Fatima, and Zuraiq tells Dalila what is happening in Egypt, so she visits Egypt. After El Zaibaq robs Abu El Ezz’s house, he deceives El Kalbi and gives him what he stole from the house and he gets caught. El Zaibaq informs Gharib where Watfa is.

10th Episode

Dalila sees that El Kalbi is being beaten by women, while Gharib saves his daughter and flees. Meanwhile, Prince Shebeeb is appointed as the new governor. Dalila and El Kalbi visit the Magi in their temple. When Dalila spreads the false news of El Kalbi's death, El Zaibaq impersonates a mortician.

11th Episode

El Zaibaq burns El Kalbi with hot water, and Zainab recognizes him as he exits El Kalbi's palace, and everyone learns that El Kalbi is still alive. Sheikh Asfahan is appointed as a judge. When Zainab informs Dalila of her desire to persuade El Zaibaq to leave with them for the Sultanate, she agrees.

12th Episode

As Ali tells Zainab of his identity, Dalila sets an ambush and captures him, and everyone discovers that Ali is El Zaibaq. Watfa informs Gharib and El Ayaa of Ali's arrest, and Isfahan sentences Ali to death by hanging; however, the people and El Ayaa save him. Salem and Gharib die, and Ali joins El Ayaa.

13th Episode

Zuraiq returns to Egypt and begins tracing Dalila's movements, and Zainab hands Habezlum to Ali. Later on, Ali meets El Kalbi and asks him to confess about the governor's treasury. Ali steals all the treasury and distributes the spoils among the people.

Finale

Shams El Din dies. Fatima tells Ali that his father was Hassan. Dalila kills Zuraiq to stop him from telling the Sultan of her agreement with the Magi. The Governor discovers the truth about El Kalbi and Dalila. Ali refuses to be the Lieutenant-Colonel of the Egyptian Gendarmerie, and insists on avenging his father from El Kalbi.
