A client admires Rabia's work in embroidery and asks for another dress. As the wife of Rabia's brother is tired of living with them at home, Rabia's mother will give her share in her father's inheritance to buy a house. The ophthalmologist tells Hamad that he should wear glasses.

3rd Episode

Saeed changes after he earns money and spends the nights out, leaving his wife alone. Consequently, he quarrels with her, and forces her to cope with the situation, upon which she complains to her aunt that it might be because she doesn't have a child.

4th Episode

When the French enter the Sidi Faraj area and kill everyone, the Dai decides to gather thousands of fighters in order to liberate Algeria from the hegemony of France, so Bu Allam suggests establishing fortresses to repel the French battleships.

5th Episode

Philip flees along with Maria and Joseph to Algeria in order to settle there. As Ibrahim Agha fails to lead the army, Zidane and Bu Allam reject his plan, as well as the tribes that do not want to support him. The French army bombs the city.

6th Episode

In his palace, the Dai hears the bombings of the city and is surprised at how Ibrahim Agha let the matter happen. The Turkish leadership sees that it must change the pasha in Algeria and forces him to step down and go to Naples. The Turks are torned between appointing Bu Jinnah or someone else.

7th Episode

The French army bombs the city of Blida and Agha abdicates. Meanwhile Abdelkader is very angry because he can do nothing. Mansour's wife dies while giving birth during the bombing, and her daughter grieves a lot.

8th Episode

As Abdelkader prepares an army of volunteers from various tribes, he and Ziad agree to lead it and inform everyone about it. Hind is raped by a French soldier, and her boyfriend could not protect her, and yet blames her. The city is once again under military attack.

9th Episode

Youssef meets the commander of the French army after killing several soldiers during attacking the city, and tells him to take command of the army and return to France. Bu Allam grieves over Youssef who betrayed his country for France. Mansour's daughter searches for Rasheed after his disappearance.

10th Episode

The police arrest Hamza, put him in jail, and torture him in order to obtain the bond. The Mufti is in his house under house arrest. When Mansour finds out about Hamza, he goes to inform him of his inability to do anything, even to his daughter.

Hamza finds himself among a group of tortured prisoners, not knowing what shall he do, while Bu Allam and Ziad search for him. The French commander tries to find out the location of the bond from the Mufti to no avail.

Abdelkader decides to become the Emir of the city and all factions congratulate him, and he promises to liberate them from the French. Hassan and Mansour die. Mansour's daughter searches for Rasheed, while Maria is sad and wants to go to France after Philip's involvement in the occupation of Algeria.

Nayla goes to Abelkader's house to ask his wife about Rasheed as well as asking for Abdelkader's help in finding him. As for the latter, he is busy eliminating enemies and punishing any traitor.

When Maria decides to travel, El Adham asks her if she meets Nayla, to tell her about him. As Maria meets Ziad, Bu Allam and his wife, Ziad admires her after he knows that she is against war and colonialism. Nayla is attacked by bandits, but Abdelkader saves her.

Nayla becomes a friend of Bu Allam's wife and is still searching for Rasheed with determination. Abdelkader fights a battle with the French despite the small number of his soldiers, but he hopes that tribes will join him.

After Philip arrests Ziad, the latter escapes and as well wants to carry out Youssef's orders to come with Nayla, but he does not find her. Sheikh Saadi advises his son to continue with his career, while Adham goes to his friend's house, where he meets his little daughter Khadija, whom he loves dearly.

As Kamal invites the French governor to his council, he lowers the Turkish flag, raises the French flag, and offers him gifts. El Akhdar's girlfriend gets angry with him because he left her for so long, but he wants to help Adham fight the French colonialism.

Fatma marries against her will, following her brother's orders. On the wedding night, she quarrels with her husband and threatens to kill him. The tribes gather under the leadership of Adham, as Youssef tells the commander that the areas, where they will attack the French army, are rugged.

Fatma convinces Abu Musa that she takes part in the war along with the women of the region against the French colonialism, and so Fatma meets with the women and wakes the spirit of their citizenship. As for the French general, Youssef orders Adham to bring him food while he is tied up.

The major battle is held between all the Algerian tribes, including Amjad, Abdelkader, Bu Allam, and Hamza, against the French army. Abdelkader dies and so does Maria, but the Algerians insist on raising the Algerian flag and liberating the country from the French.

Youssef sends Maria’s body to Joseph, who grieves her death and considers committing suicide, but Adham orders him to take revenge on Philip and Youssef. Fatma contemplates a good scheme to defend the city and strike the French.

As the battle begins and the French lose, the General Commander is enraged at Youssef and asks him to arrest Sheikh Saadi, while everyone rejoices at Fatma's plan. Francis attempts to kill the General Commander because he has taken his position in government.

Finale

Francis fails to kill the commander, while Fatma is sad when Abdelkader dies, just as Bu Allam and Amjad. Nayla leads the army, but as the French are more powerful, the battle ends with a peaceful solution, which is that the French stay in Algeria in exchange for security and peace.
