Omar catches feelings for the bank employee, Ghada. Salem tells his friend that upon his release from prison, he wanted revenge on those who got him imprisoned, but he has since reconsidered and only wants a fresh start now.

Mariam informs her sister Amal that their cousin Khamis refuses her marriage to Ahmed. Instead, Khamis considers wedding her to Omar for money. As Tarek returns from his travels, he decides to settle down and look for work.

Omar informs Ghada of his wish to ask for her hand. Fayza rebuffs Salem and asks him to stay away from her. As Omar's mother tries to get him to wed Najah, she enlists Riad's help to convince Omar.

Riad loses his money in the stock exchange. Amal rejects Khamis's friend when he proposes to her. Salem asks Ahmed to help him reconcile with Fayza. Omar's mother rejects his marriage to Ghada due to their different social classes.

Najah tries to get close to Omar. Amal discovers that Kholoud is involved with an unemployed man and warns her against that relationship. Khamis decides to wed Kholoud to Abu Mahmoud, after he gives him money and plane tickets.

Salem tries to convince Fayza to give him a chance to prove that he has changed, but she refuses. Omar asks Ghada to set a date for their engagement. Hemdan complains to Samy's father that Khamis refuses to approve Ahmed's marriage to Amal.

Khamis quarrels with Amal over her relationship with Ahmed. Salem continues to ask everyone to help him reconcile with Fayza. Fawzy tries to get close to Najah. Omar's mother and Najah's father agree to marry Omar to Najah.

Fawzy talks to Najah about asking for her hand. Riad is distressed by Erag's distance. Kholoud wed Abu Mahmoud. Omar's mother tells her other son Riad that she disapproves of Omar's marriage to Ghada.

Omar's mother remains steadfast in her opposition to Omar and Ghada's marriage. Riad threatens Omar with the loss of all his money and property if he goes through with his marriage to Ghada. Gom'aa asks Khamis for Amal's hand.

Tarek thinks about proposing to Fayza, but he grows concerned about his sister Mariam's possible rejection. Omar informs Ghada that he has to wed his cousin Najah.

Tarek insists on marrying Fayza. Kholoud returns to her sister's house after a fight with Abu Mahmoud. Omar informs Ghada that his marriage to Najah is one of interest to enable him to pay off his debts. Najah and Omar get married.

Abu Mahmoud divorces Kholoud. As Omar joins his father-in-law in managing the company, he tells Ghada that they need to cut off ties.

Samy and Tarek get in a car accident that claims the latter's life. Ghada's psychological state worsens. Riad faces financial trouble.

Samy holds himself responsible for Tarek's death, sending his emotional state downhill. Amal discovers that Abu Mahmoud has withdrawn all his money from the bank.

Riad decides to travel abroad to sell his company's shares. Samy is admitted to a psychological facility. Najah informs Omar of her pregnancy.

Ghada receives a videotape showing Omar caring for the pregnant Najah. Ghada is upset with Erag's interference in her life.

Unable to get over her love for her, Omar tries to reconcile with Ghada. Amal quarrels with Khamis over her insistence to marry Ahmed. The Hajj takes a third wife. Khamis discovers that Salama has given birth to quadruplets.

Khamis is arrested after causing a car accident. Riad is sent to prison for failing to pay off his debts. Fares and Erag agree to wed. Amal weds Ahmed.
