The series revolves around the family of Haj Abd Alsattar, who is a drug dealer and is assisted by his eldest son without the knowledge of his family. When Abd Alsattar dies, his sons learn the truth from their elder brother, and they decide to complete a drug deal so as not to lose their money.

The television series assumes as its focus the family of al-Hajj “’Abd Al Sattar” who works in leather tanning with help from his older son who had failed at school. The two earn livelihood for the rest of the family which is composed of Ashraf, a police officer married to his cousin Hoda, Sa’ad, who graduated from the faculty of commerce and works as a broker at the stock market and the newborn Noura. ‘Abd Al Sattar marries a divorcee named Ne’ma who introduces him to a flight attendant named Nadim who subsequently abuses al-Hajj’s export privileges to smuggle medicines from abroad. Nadim let’s al-Hajj in on the scheme and convinces him of its profitability. The shipment is transferred successfully and al-Hajj decides to make another attempt at shipping drugs. He travels abroad to close the deal but he dies upon his return. Thereupon his sons learn what was going on from their older brother and decide to continue the shipment.
