Days of Levant الحصرم الشامي


The events depict the daily life of the people of the Levant in the period between 1715 till 1750 through several families and their social, economical and political lives. It includes events happening in the era of Sulayman Pasha al-Azm then Asaad Pasha.


Hundred years after the events of season one, nothing changed much expect few changes in the names of those in power. Sultan Mahmud II begins his Renaissance movement to rebuild the country and structuring its institutions on a modern basis with the help of Selim Pasha.


The events tackle the ruling period of Ibrahim Pasha in the Levant between 1830-1840 and the intellectual, political and economic reforms that he tried to make, but failed due to rushing to enforce power and law in a land that haven't known either for 600 years.
