Karima is poor woman from a poor neighborhood. She is married to "Abbas", a simple government employer, a mother of three children the elder is in university and the youngest is at 5th primary grade. She works in sewing and as a nurse in order to help her husband with the house expenses. Karima never imagined that the money she gives to "Abbas" goes to his other wife, the daughter of Karima's neighbor. It's funny that Karima herself was seeking to make her husband's wife marry another neighbor for them. Abbas dies in a car accident and Karima discovers that he was married from another girl who is pregnant in twins. However, she cheers up after knowing that Abbas has inherited a sum of money that she'll have to share with her husband's wife. Karima turns to be miserly and goes to a Psychiatrist called "Arafaa" in order to recover. Arafaa and Karima's aunt "Farida" makes a plan on karima to make her recover, Farida pretends that she came to Cairo to make some tests because she about to die and leaves the third of her heritage to Karima. In anticipation of the upcoming heritage, Karima recovers her miserly, starts to invest her money and spend it on her children. Farida becomes truly ill, Karima discovers the reality and tries to help her aunt but it's too late.
