Salem’s wife dies, leaving her son Fawaz to his father to raise him, but he decides to marry another woman. Meanwhile, Abu Abdullah always quarrels with his wife and decides to take another wife. Bu Ali lives happily with his wife Umm Hassan.

As Nuria mistreats Fawaz, she tells her husband Abu Fawaz she's pregnant and gives birth to her first son Jassem. Umm Hassan gives birth and the doctor tells her husband she won't have children again. Problems erupt between Abu Abdullah and his wife after his mother forced him to marry another woman.

Nuria insists that Fawaz stay in the maid's room and then forces his father to take him into a foster home. Abdullah and his brother Khaled are upset about the way their mother treats him and their father's neglect after he took another wife.

Fawaz leaves the foster home and lives with his father, but his stepmother, Nuria, treats him badly, and insists that he leaves. Years pass and Fawaz grows up and begins to rely on himself and he leaves the foster home for good.

Nuria continues to treat Fawaz harshly, while his father cannot do anything about it. Fawaz continues his studies, and enrolls in high school.

Fawaz graduates from high school and joins university. Abu Khalil asks Salem that his son Fawaz stay at home with him, but Nuria refuses. Abdullah tries to convince his father to take care of them, especially since his brother Khaled is in a critical stage. Khaled stabs the guard and is arrested.

After Fawaz graduates from the university, he asks to marry Duaa. Abdullah gets married. Nuria tries to convince Umm Hassan not to complete Fawaz's marriage and that he is not worthy of her daughter because of his stay in his childhood in a foster home.

Fawaz gets married and has his son Ali. Khaled is released from prison, but he meets a group of bad friends, takes drugs with them and enters prison again. On the other hand, Jassem robs his father.

Hassan returns from London and works at the city hospital. As Jassem marries Iraj, many problems arise between her and her mother-in-law Nuria.

Salwa agrees with her husband to invite their friends to secure their votes in the elections. Khaled asks Matar to enter prison instead of him. Fawaz tells Duaa he's afraid of Ali asking about his grandfather and brothers from his stepmother. Jassem convinces his mother to trade in the stock market.

Abdullah quarrels with his sister Salwa for insisting to take her mother to her house. The patient Asmaa, whom Hassan treats, wakes up and is happy when she moves her foot. Fawaz asks his father's friend to get to know his brothers and their children. Khaled regrets his life choices. Abu Fawaz asks his daughter to look for her brother Fawaz and tells her that he left him on the street when he was young. Khaled's mother asks her older son to visit Khaled in prison.

Fawaz tells his wife Duaa to meet his sister Iman. Hassan asks Asmaa's father that she travel abroad for treatment. Jassem quarrels with his mother about his wife Iraj, and Abdullah also quarrels with his sister, Salwa, for holding mixed parties at her home.

Hassan agrees that his sister search for a bride for him and at the same time he is in love with his patient Asmaa, who is traveling for treatment. After Hassan's mother learns that Fawaz wants to move to his house, the latter meets his brother Nasser. Iman gets married.

Jassem asks Fawaz to convince Iman to return to her husband so as not to imprison him. He is forced to sell his right in his father's shop to pay off Jassem's debt. Wael divorces Iman. Before he dies, Nuria tries to pressure Abu Fawaz to confess to his will. Hassan returns from traveling with his bride.

After Abu Fawaz's death, Jassem and his mother are in a hurry to seize the inheritance and try to prevent Fawaz from his right. Hassan is upset with Asmaa's insistence not to have children, at the same time Iman gives birth to her first child. Iraj discovers her husband Jassem is cheating on her.
