Ahmed is a student from the countryside who came to Cairo to study at the Music Institute. He falls in love with his neighbor despite her being paralyzed, but her father rejects his marriage proposal since he's still a student. Years pass and he graduates and asks to marry her once more. He does not take no for an answer, insisting on marrying her this time.
