After the accused, Gharib, escapes from the prison patrol wagon, the police look for him, and his wife, Mufida, discovers his escape. When Gharib tries to prove his innocence of the charges, he keeps track of Jalal, who implicated him, and discovers that he is wheedling his way on to wealthy Dawlat.

Maghawri accuses Gharib that he has escaped after he assaulted him. Mufida reveals to the police officer the animosity between Gharib and Jalal for her refusal to marry Jalal previously, and choosing Gharib instead. The police continue to search for Gharib.

When Gharib meets Dawlat, he tries to convince her that Jalal has deceived her, and tells her about his plot with him to counterfeit money, and how his wife, Mufida, tried to convince him of the other side of the coin, but he refused to listen to her.

Dawlat warns Gharib off the police. As Mukhtar advises Mufida that Gharib turns himself in to the police, he confirms that Jalal did not admit to his crimes. Gharib asks Jalal to admit that he has counterfeited money, and forces him to do so. Mufida informs Shaaban of the kinship she has with Jalal.

Galal locks Gharib in the storehouse, forces him to work in forgery again, and threatens to hand him over to the police, otherwise he will kill his daughter, Salwa, whom he has kidnapped. Mufida informs Gharib of her previous acquaintance with Jalal, who succeeds in deceiving Dawlat again.

Mufida tries to kill Jalal. The child Ahmed has a car accident when he goes to warn Gharib off the police. After Gharib disguises himself as a doctor to visit Ahmed in the hospital, he turns himself in to the police subsequent to stealing all of Jalal's money from the bank.

After Dawlat decides to assign a power of attorney for Jalal to run her business, Jalal tells her that he will return Salwa back to her mother, Mufida, but Dawlat takes care of her and asks Safiya to bring Ahmed to stay with her at home.

Dawlat asks her lawyer to take Ahmed back to school, and that she will take charge of his expenses. Mufida suffers a nervous breakdown and is transferred to a psychiatric hospital.

Years pass by and Salwa, Mufida's daughter, grows up in Dawlat's bosom, and so does Ahmed, who becomes a prosecutor, while Salwa becomes a painter. Sawsan meets Mufida in the psychiatric hospital without knowing that she is her mother. Ahmed gets engaged to Salwa.

As Jalal's son dies in a tragic accident, Jalal suffers a bad psychological trauma, and so his wife commits suicide after she has gone insane. Mukhtar suggests on Dawlat that Ahmed and Salwa speed up their marriage after Gharib pays for the apartment in which Ahmed lives.

Ahmed thinks that Jalal is the one who pays for his expenses. Dawlat asks Salwa to stay away from Jalal, who asks Mufida for forgiveness and admits to the police he is behind Gharib’s imprisonment. Dawlat refuses to tell Salwa about her real father, who is released from prison.

Ahmed refuses the money that Jalal gave to his father. Gharib meets Dawlat and refuses to tell Salwa that he is her father. Jalal tells Maghawri that he will bow out all the suspicious business.

Shaaban tells Dawlat that Gharib is the one who was spending on Ahmed, and that Jalal decided to take revenge on Ahmed for leaving his son's death case. Salwa discovers that her real father is Gharib, who is accused of killing Jalal.

The police are looking for Gharib on charges of killing Jalal. Gharib visits Ahmed and confesses that he has killed Jalal in retaliation. As Gharib dies in Ahmed's house, Salwa is shocked at his death after she was shocked by her mother, Mufida, whom she did not recognize in the psychiatric hospital.
