When a suitor proposes to Buthaina, her father offers her the matter. Buthaina quarrels with her brother's wife, Nariman. Abu Hassan (Hassan's father) offers to buy Abu Munther's house.

Buthaina grows fond of her friend's husband, Jamil, who flirts with her every time she comes to her friend's house. Tamer confesses his love for Rania, but she tells him that he is like a brother to her.

Munther tells his wife Nariman that his father has solved the problem of the apartment and will buy him a house in his name. Munther warns Buthaina not to approach his wife again. Jamil flirts with Buthaina, but she evades him.

Buthaina gets angry after learning about her father's conversation with Abu Hassan about selling the house. Jamil calls Buthaina and asks her to meet him without her friend and his wife Sabah knowing.

Abu Munther tells Suhaila that he likes her, proposes marriage to her, and asks her to think about it. Buthaina doesn't give the medicine to her sick mother on time, but she saves her at the last moment.

Jamil meets Buthaina for the third time and tells her that he cannot stop thinking about her, after which he asks Buthaina to come to his house after Sabah went to her family.

Jamil asks Buthaina that they have a customary marriage, and she agrees. Suhaila tells Abu Munther that she eagerly accepts his request to marry her.

Buthaina feels very ill, and her brother, Munther, notices. Suhaila agrees to marry Abu Munther, but asks him to write a house in her name, and he agrees.

Jamil asks Buthaina to announce their marriage to everyone. Nawras quarrels with his father over selling the house.

Buthaina learns from the nurse that she is pregnant, and Jamil disavows her, whereupon she decides to commit suicide, but Youssef saves her.

Abu Munther quarrels with his daughter and slaps her in the face after she stayed out late and left her mother. Buthaina tells Nariman about her pregnancy and asks her for help.

Sabah visits her friend Buthaina at her home and learns of her illness. Nariman tells Buthaina that she will never leave her in her ordeal, while Buthaina's mother feels that her daughter is hiding a great secret from her.

Buthaina decides to sell her gold to have an abortion, and turns to Youssef and asks him to give her money for the operation.

Buthaina goes with Nariman to the doctor to have an abortion, while Youssef thinks all the time about Buthaina and tells his friend that he likes her.

Buthaina quarrels with her mother. Jamil asks Buthaina to forgive him, but she refuses and tells him that he abandoned her in her ordeal.

Sabah suspects her husband and Buthaina after she sees his personal watch in her hand. Nawras quarrels with Hassan over selling the house. Rima meets her lover Nawras and admonishes him for neglecting her.

Nawras quarrels with his father again and informs all the family that his father took another wife other than his sick mother, whereupon Abu Munther throws his son Nawras out of the house. Jamil freaks out when he watches Buthaina and sees her with Youssef.

Abu Munther leaves his wife to depart this life without providing her with care. Sabah confronts Jamil with his relationship with her friend Buthaina, who collapses after her mother dies.

Suhaila tells Abu Munther about his daughter's pregnancy. Jamil goes to the hospital and sees Buthaina and takes her with him to their apartment. Sabah quarrels with Jamil because of his relationship with Buthaina.

When Nawras suspects that his father caused his mother's death, he tells his brother Munther how he feels. Sabah quarrels with her husband and learns about his relationship with her friend Buthaina.

When Buthaina falls unconscious, Youssef asks a doctor to examine her, after which Buthaina stays at Youssef's house.

When Nariman tells her husband Munther about his sister's pregnancy, Munther gets angry at her for not telling him before. Jamil goes to the market and asks Youssef about Buthaina, but Youssef denies knowing where Buthaina is and expels him from the place.

Jamil watches Youssef's place and learns that Buthaina is in his house and goes to her, but Youssef's mother stands up to him. Sabah quarrels with Jamil and leaves the house.

Buthaina tells Youssef about her whole story with Jamil and that she regrets everything she did. When Jamil is beaten up by men, Youssef is accused of it and the police arrest him.

Mahmoud tells his two sons, Munther and Nawras, that he got married to Suhaila. Youssef goes to Jamil's house and asks him to stay away from Buthaina, but Jamil refuses and quarrels with him.

Abu Mahjoub tells Abla that there is a girl in her lover Youssef's house, whereupon she freaks out, goes to the house, and quarrels with Youssef's mother. Buthaina runs away and returns to her father's house, and she confronts her father for causing her mother's death.

Buthaina tells Nariman that she will leave the house without her father and siblings knowing, after which Buthaina goes to her mother's grave and stays there. Nawras threatens his father to get his share in selling the house.

When Youssef finds Buthaina, he asks her to go with him to the neighborhood and tells her that he has divorced his wife. When Mahmoud gets sick, he gathers his children around him and tells his son Nawras where his money is.

Sabah goes to Mahmoud's house and thinks that Buthaina is at home, upon which she quarrels with her sister Rania. Youssef goes to check on Buthaina and tells her that Jamil is searching for her.

Youssef asks Buthaina to marry him, and she agrees. When Buthaina returns to her father's house again, her brother Munther and her sister Rania embrace her. Buthaina tells Youssef that she will not abandon her father in his illness and will remain with him.
